Building solar panels on the roof of our school.

Hello my name is Steven Krefft. I'm a member of Hinsdale South's environmental concerns club. We are a very devoted group who wish to build solar panels on the roof of our school. Unfortunately, wih the economy in the state that it is in we do not have the money to pursue this endeavour without a grant. We are located in Darien, IL. Our club devotes a lot of energy in everything we do and so does our community. Darien would love to help out the environment in any way they could.

Specifically to schools, access the ICECF Solar Schools Program here Through 2009 the ICECF awarded 140 schools with grants up to $10,000 for 1KW systems. This won't go that far but it's a start!
