Do larger scale solar projects get more grants then smaller ones?

I was wondering if a block of businesses would be able to save money by all investing in a large scale solar project spread across all their roofs instead of the incentives offered for each company to individual get solar panels installed on their roof?

That seems a great idea! The benefit would be in a combined capacity, providing you could link up their output, and sell excess generated over internal use. It might be a stable second income for the business group to use all their rood space, in fact representing an urban solar energy generation plant.The differences in terms of grants and incentives would be in terms of categories you could apply for, eg business electricity use, electricity generation. If in the US, search the DSIRE database for different configurations of your idea.
