El Mirage LEED Certified Fire Station

by Pat
(El Mirage, AZ USA)

In the fall of 2009, El Mirage voters approved a bond to fund a desparately needed new fire station. However, the steep decline in anticipated City revenues, home foreclosures, and increases in City expenditures have jeopardized the City's ability to move forward with constructing the station. We would welcome partnerships and ideas to make the new station a reality.

Our residents' safety is paramount, and the City's focus on sustainability ensures that current and future generations of residents will understand and value the natural resources around them.
