Any ideas about the best source of grant funding for a FEASIBILITY STUDY for a small wind turbine (<100Kw) for a non-profit org. in Rhode Island? Thanks! ----
The Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation (RIEDC) accepts financing applications for renewable energy projects that "directly benefit the state of Rhode Island." These financial incentives, which include grants, recoverable grants and loans, are funded by the Rhode Island Renewable Energy Fund (RIREF). The program areas include pre-development consultant and technical feasibility studies for business, commercial, not-for-profit, municipal and institutional projects.
there is no project cap or limit. However funding is limited to no more than $200,000 per year. Applications due by March 31 and September 30.
We hope this helps!
