by Mrs. Jude Garner

I would love to put solar energy on my house to help with electric bills, which I am having problems affording since I am elderly. Who and how can I go about getting this assistance?
I live on social security and have not got a lot of money so I do need help. But solar energy will help the atmosphere and keep pollution down so I need help to get it. I live in Crystal Lake, IL and my e mail address is, jgtea

Thank you for your inquiry Mrs Garner,
There seem to be many people in your position who would like to install solar PV, are environmentally conscious and in need of energy cost savings.
A DSIRE search reveals only solar grants to commercial, or non-profit organizations.
