Insurance for tax credit certification

John,

You may be thinking about the $2,000 tax credit for builders who build a home that beats the IECC by 50%. The process is performed by Home Energy Raters, and yes, we must have E&O insurance coverage (can't remember the amount) in order to be permitted to certify the home.
