In support of your erfforst
by: Beth

This is so heartening. IT's because of young people like you that we can move into the future. Keep working toward the result you want and success is bound to follow.

My daughter is a freshman at Cal Poly and I am planning a move to the area.

This gives me hope so please do not give up. Renewable energy is the only way forward and this subject is especially poignant since you have a nuclear power plant only 12 miles away from campus...a very frightening proposition indeed, especially since it is up for renewal and probably should not be renewed, in fact it is my firm belief that every nuclear power plant should be made redundant.

Perhaps you should contact Mother's for Peace, a very, very dynamic and well organized group that opposes nuclear energy and promotes the introduction of renewables. THey are based in SLO, I believe.

MFP would be a wonderful resource.

Best of luck,
