New Solar Business Grants Colorado
I am looking for a Grant to start a new Solar Business in a rural part of Colorado. It will be a retail, wholesale, and manufacturing interest with an emphasis on agriculture. Any help will be appreciated.
The
New Energy Economic Development Grant Program is a State Colorado Program under the Federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds. Eligible technologies for its grants are Solar Thermal Electric, Photovoltaics, Wind, Biomass, Hydroelectric, Fuel Cells, Small Hydroelectric, Renewable Fuels, Other Distributed Generation Technologies.
Secondly, the
USDA - Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) Grants It says, inter alia, that "of the total REAP funding available, approximately 88% is dedicated to competitive grants and loan guarantees for energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy systems. These incentives are available to agricultural producers and rural small businesses to purchase renewable energy systems (including systems that may be used to produce and sell electricity) and to make energy efficiency improvements. "
Thirdly, try the
U.S. Department of Treasury - Renewable Energy Grants which has a provision for taking tax credits as grants
