Non Profit seeking solar grant for sports park
by Cindy Melland
(Yucca Valley, CA USA)
Just a brief look at the project
We are a non-profit foundation in Southern California building a youth sports park for our kids. We have designed solar shade covered breeze-ways and are seeking grants, partners and/or ideas. We are featuring a Miracle League field for the handicapped, four soccer fields, family picnic areas, and demonstration gardens.
We are in the Palm Springs area and are a prime candidate for solar. Can you help direct me to someone who might be able to help our cause?
Thank you.

Well readers, how about it? Can
you help?
Meanwhile Cindy, this program may be worth exploring:
The
California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) adopted a program -- the California Solar Initiative (CSI) -- to provide over $3 billion in incentives for solar-energy projects The objective is to provide 3,000 megawatts (MW) of solar capacity by 2016.
