Nonprofit Renewable Energy Grants - Retrofit Residential Housing

by George Pendleton
(St. Paul, Minnesota)

I am a board member for a nonprofit. We are trying to retrofit existing residential housing with renewable energy resources for lower income based neighborhoods. Does anyone know of any grants that would be appropriate for this.
-
George,

There does appear to be a Federal grant for this purpose, through the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of Affordable Housing Preservation. Full details here at Grants.gov.

Does anyone know of further sources?
