Renewable energy grants for landlords Florida Georgia

I am a property owner who is looking for grants or other assistance to explore alternative energy for properties that I rent to others. I believe in doing what is smart and improving my properties but the benefits will go to my tenants and not to myself without being able to raise the rents in the units. Without empirical evidence of the savings no tenant will pay the additional amount of rent to justify the expenditure of installing modern windows, enhancing insulation or going with solar water heaters and PV systems. Are there any programs in either Florida or Georgia that Provide incentives to land lords?

Yes Brian, yours is a good idea. The Miami-Dade County - Expedited Green Buildings Process is an example of an incentive program that you may be looking for.
