Say NO! to Nuclear Energy

I think that nuclear energy is bad for the environment. I am only 13 years old but I am doing an assignment about it.

My assignment is to go against nuclear energy. The information I have found has its adavantages and disadvantages.

I found that the waste of nuclear energy is not always stored correctly meaning that it is polluting our world.

If the nuclear waste explodes or something similar to that then it will cost millions of dollars just to clean it up. The government will then use our money to clean up the mess.

Once it is all cleaned up the radiation hangs around for another EIGHT-HUNDRED YEARS. Nuclear enrgy can cause unwanted accidents like the more nuclear power plants being built the more chance of a disasteous failure somewhere else in the world.

The nuclear power plants can also cause failures and illness. I reckon nuclear power is extremely dangerous.
