seeking grant to install 1.5mw solar electric system

I am seeking information on the requirements to qualify for a grant to install either photo-voltaic panels or thin-film solar electric. The permits are in place and we are seeking a purchase power agreement with Pacific Gas and Electric Company. We have reasonable access to the grid and are near a sub-station which has an additional 3 MW capacity to accept the produced power. We are seeking to begin installation ASAP and will achieve greater than 5% completion by December 31, 2010.

Jerry, This is for a commercial building we assume, not for a private dwelling or solar plant.

The U.S. Department of Treasury - Renewable Energy Grants , under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (H.R. 1),has a renewable energy grant program, administered by the U.S. Department of Treasury. This cash grant may be taken in lieu of the federal business energy investment tax credit (ITC).
