Solar and/or Wind Turbine Grant Money

by Jason
(Henderson, NC, USA)

sponsored links

I'm looking at ways to help get "off-the-grid" and I'm looking at installing solar panels and wind turbines at my home. I need to know if there is grant money I can get to help offset the initial expense. Any help that anyone can provide will be most appreciated.

Thanks Jason

This post really belongs here where you can find many answers to renewable energy incentives.

You can search here on the North Carolina page of the DSIRE renewable energy incentives site. We cannot see any direct grant schemes but perhaps tax incentives or loans will help.

Furthermpore these federal incentives may be worth exploring.

Here is a resource for building your wind generators and solar panels yourself at low cost.

We'd love to hear how you get on. Please come back and share with others.
