Solar Car Competition

by Jean
(Devon, PA)

A group of students at our small school would like to build a solar car to enter into the national competition. Are there grants or sponsorships available to schools for these projects?
Thank you,
Jean

Great project Jean. Try the Pennsylvania DCED - Alternative and Clean Energy Program under its category "Grants for Feasibility Studies" up to $175,000. If it does not fit your project perhaps they can suggest other avenues. Any others who know good grant sources for this project?
