Solar Decathlon 2011 funding

by Corinne
(Virginia)

My university is looking to participate in the 2011 solar decathlon. Are there any grants we may look to for funding?

Thanks
Corinne

Thanks for your question Corinne.

We are not aware of any grants for the Solar Decathlon 2011, called for by the US Department Of Energy.

If someone does and wants to help Corinne's university, post your information here as a comment please.

The Solar Decathlon is a competition in which 20 teams of college and university students compete to design, build, and operate the most attractive, effective, and energy-efficient solar-powered house. Colleges, universities, and other post-secondary educational institutions worldwide are welcome to submit proposals, which determine entry into the biennial Solar Decathlon design competition. All proposals are reviewed, scored, and ranked. Subject to the quantity and quality of proposals, a limited number of teams will be selected for entry.
